holy shit where do i even begin. i love rayman. to the characters, to the lore, gameplay, literally everything is amazing. i first found out about rayman in around october/november 2023, when i was scrolling on youtube until i found a video called 'rayman sings sexbomb'. the funny thing is that it would only be recommended to me at night, and i kept on trying to ignore it because i thought it would be a creepy video, which is probably one of the dumbest things ive ever thought. TwT.. also at around this time, i was eyeing this new show called 'captain laserhawk' on netflix. idk why, but when i saw that big-nosed fella on the thumbnail, i thought to myself, 'i swear i saw this guy before..' and took an interest in him. SO, one day, i finally decided to watch the sexbomb video that ALWAYS appeared on my recommended. and then it clicked. oh my god. THATS THE SAME GUY! i thought the video was bizarre but in the best way, and i became even MORE interested in rayman. so i looked at some videos about it, and the one i remember the most was one by 'The Artist Mark Flynn', which was about rayman's designs over the years. i was instantly captivated, and right after, i watched captain laserhawk. and then TWO MASSIVE INTERESTS appeared. rayman and captain laserhawk are my two biggest interests like, ever, and they genuinely mean so much to me because both franchises have helped me so SO much over the couple years, and best of all, ive met some of the kindest, most talented, amazing, lovely friends because of it.

november 15th was when i officially got into rayman and the clh series, hence why my selfshipping anniversary with rayman is that day! :3

this franchise is so comforting and cool; i really love the glade of dreams and the gorgeous backdrops of rayman origins + legends!! all the characters are so unique and goofy, from their designs to their personalities, and i rlly enjoy learning learning facts and lore about each of them, no matter how random they are,,,,, not to mention the more obscure parts of the franchise. i could talk about it for LITERAL HOURS. theres a rayman iceberg i watched a while ago and still rewatch once in a while by the youtuber 'Ryemanni', and i rlly recommend his video if u wanna learn every nook and cranny about this silly game series ^__^

another thing i love about rayman is the music. the melodies is these games are AMAZING!!!!! my two personal favs are 'Food World Paradise (Track 01)' and 'Betilla the Fairy (Theme)',, plz listen to them theyre SO ETHEREAL EIUHHJGKHJ!!11 i love all the songs though, another reason being that they match the atmosphere of each world and level perfectly! each track is so majestic and fun in their own way, and i could even fall asleep to some songs (cough cough rayman 2 soundtrack cough cough)

i have a bit of rayman merch, as most of it is really rare and/or older,, buttttttt the merch i DO have: the rayman youtooz figure, the rayman youtooz pins, the rayman artbook, and soon ill have the new official rayman plushie!!!! my wife is coming home soon,,,,, shes coming home,..,,
